New series - GIANT

This Week’s Main Focus:

You are NEVER too young to defeat your GIANT problems!

How old is too old? Is 30 years old too old to be in kindergarten? Is 50 years old too old to be sucking

your thumb? Is 100 years old to old to be called a kid? You CAN be too old for some things. But what about being too young for some things? Is 5 years old too young to drive a car? Is 10 years old too young to be a police officer? Is 20 years old too young to be a grandpa? For sure you CAN be too young for SOME things, too. What about defeating your GIANT problems? How young is too young to believe God for victory over your problems?

You’re NEVER too young to have victory when it comes to defeating your problems, boys and girls!

You are “The Young and The Courageous!” Hey, wait! I just had an idea! That sounds like a great name for a TV show! Let’s see...the main character would be….YOU! (After all, in the word YOUNG is Y-O-U...YOU!) So, YOU are The Young and the Courageous, ready to defeat tall Giants with a single stone, just like David! But wait! Someone comes along, makes fun of you and says, “YOU think you can tackle that problem? HA! You make me laugh!” Uhoh, what’s a young and courageous one like YOU to do?

Quick! To the Bible you go! “Let’s see...where is that verse? There it is!” You’ve found it! “Don’t let anyone

think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers” 1 Timothy 4:12. You put on the whole armor of God, including the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit and you go to meet your problem head on! “I am NOT TOO YOUNG,” you say as you head off into problem solving battle!

What happens next? Will you defeat the problem and then eat a hamburger with a side order of fries?

Will the problem be too much for you and God to handle? Will you ever be able to identify what IS under your bed? Only YOU can answer these questions—and only GOD and YOU can defeat your giant problems! Until next time, this is your TV announcer, I. M. OLD, saying “You are not too young to take on the giant...and that’s the GIANT truth!”
